What's new.....
Ryder is still on the verge of crawling. He can move backwards just not forward yet. He sure gets around though. He has been working on his first tooth. It is not the typical bottom middle tooth either - it is one on the side! So weird. It hasn't poked through yet and it isn't causing him tooo much stress, but there are definitely times I can tell it's bothering him. Poor guy. :( He is on his third vegetable - green beans! He thinks they are disgusting. Gags with every bite and can barely swallow. But then he always opens his mouth for the next bite! I can't wait until we get to fruit to see him actually like the taste of something. :) He says "mama" and "dada" all the time and it is sooo cute!
I am really sorry I have not uploaded videos onto the other site yet. Ryder wants my attention all day long and Rudy has been working a lot. He finally gets a break this week with 3, yes THREE days off! Memorial day is a paid holiday for him and then he actually gets 2 other days off this week (unless he decides to pick up some hours on one of them). This is the first year I will have Memorial day off in the past 5 years! I am so excited! That was one of the major bummers about working at Canyon Ranch - they are open 365 days a year. They were nice and gave us double pay on holidays which was always too good of a deal to pass up. We don't have anything major planned for tomorrow, just going to stay home and cook out on the grill. I think we will set up Ryder's little blow up pool too since it is HOT. I am ready for the hot weather to be gone already and it's only been a week or two! I am in for a long, miserable summer. Ryder and I will be spending lots of time indoors and at the pool, that's for sure! We are starting a class next week, "Little Movers and Shakers." I am excited and think it will be fun. It will get us out of the house and hopefully we will meet some nice people too.
I am longing to spend some time on the farm, with my grandma and the rest of the family. I can't wait for everyone to meet Ryder! I have been looking at plane tickets and I wish it didn't cost an arm and a leg to get there! Especially with all the stupid baggage fees they have now. I think driving would be too hard with a baby though. I am pretty sure he would hate being in the car for 3 days. I am going to keep checking on tickets and hopefully we can find a good deal.
Hmm, can't think of anything else really. I wanted to post a bunch of pictures, but most of them were too big to put on here ... so I will put them here: ryderjackson.shutterfly.com
Here are the only 2 I was able to share here ....
There was so much to look at, he refused to look at the camera!
