We had a busy, exhausting weekend! Stayed up late Friday night getting ready for the yard sale. After 2 hours of sleep, I got up real early and headed to Karina's to get set up. Rudy brought Ryder a few hours later when he woke up. The yard sale was a success! I think I made more money than I ever have at one. I was really kind of surprised because we didn't have a ton of people and there was a lot of stuff leftover. I had 3 large things that I really wanted to sell and swore that they weren't coming home with me. A chair, a large 4-drawer metal file cabinet and tiki bar that has been in the box for years and is a pain to haul every time I have moved or had a yard sale somewhere else. By the end of the sale I was willing to let these items go for almost nothing. Guess what came home with us and are all currently sitting in the garage!?!?! All 3 of them! They are going on Craigs List for a week and after that I am dumping them somewhere. All of our other leftovers went to the Goodwill, but these items wouldn't fit with everything else. Grr. Hopefully next week, once they are gone, we can re-arrange the garage to fit both cars -woohoo!

We were soooo tired after the yard sale, but had plans to go out that night - our first date night since Ryder was born! I barely got a nap, but we went out and had a blast! I am going to write a separate post about that. Ryder stayed home with Rudy's sister Melissa and did great! We had hoped to have him asleep by the time we left, but he wasn't having it. So glad it went well. Looking forward to our next date night! Here are some recent pictures ....

Little Boy & Ryder - Best Buds!!

He is such a good dog with the baby.

Yesterday we gave Ryder his first vegetable - Organic Sweet Peas! I was going back and forth between that and cereal and he didn't even seem to notice the difference.

Once the cereal was gone, there were still some peas left and the last few bites he seemed to realize he wasn't eating cereal and started making funny faces!

Tonight was the 2nd attempt at peas .....

EWWWW!!!

He was practically gagging and would shiver in disgust with each bite, but then kept opening his mouth for more!

A little playing before bed ....

He is soooo close to crawling! He keeps getting into this position and it cracks me up ... I wonder if he will even use his knees to crawl! Baby-proofing is on this weeks list of things to do

I am starting a scrapbook of my pregnancy and Ryder's first year! I am so excited and can't wait to get it going. I am sure it's going to take awhile to complete, but I am aiming to have it done by his first birthday - except the last page will have to wait until after his birthday party!

That's all for now .... gotta get to bed. Rudy is off tomorrow and we (ok, I) have plans to get lots of things done. :) Have a great week!
