To anyone who checks this:

I am sorry that I do not post more often, but I just never have anything exciting to post.

This is what's new in my life ....

It was another so-so week at work.  The first 2 days are always the hardest to get through.  They also happen to be the longest.  The last 3 days are pretty much cake and I can be in a good mood through most of it.  Thursday staff meetings stress me out, but then my weekend starts a few hours later.  Weekends usually hold a few fun activites with my hubby and/or friends.  Thursday night I went to "biker bingo" with a couple of girls from work.  It was pretty cool ... happy hour deals (99 cent tacos!), free bingo with the potential of winning $400, and some time with the girls to unwind after a stressful day at work.  It was a nice time and I can't wait for the next time.  Last night the hubby and I got Little Ceaser's pizza for $5, along with crazy bread and we rented the movie "What Happens In Vegas."  It was pretty funny.  It was nice to just have a date night in the house with all the dogs.  The rest of the weekend was spent cleaning and resting.  I woke up early this morning and Rudy made breakfast before he went to work.  After he left, I fell into a really DEEP sleep on the couch .. surrounded by dogs.  I slept for about 2 hours and apparently I needed it because I kept trying to wake myself up, but I just couldn't even open my eyes.  I had some crazy dreams too.  Once I did get up, I ran a few errands and did some deep cleaning  (like the calcium build up around the faucets ... that drives me nuts).  Rudy's parents brought us a bunch of bedroom furniture that they wanted to get rid of.  It is nice furniture, but just not our style so we are going to paint it and we also want to paint our bedroom.  It is waaayyyy toooooo dark (will post pics when I get a chance).  Now that we have the furniture, I am inspired to choose the paint colors and get it done.   Oh yea!!  I forgot ... I went to the eye doctor yesterday, because I have had my insurance for 2 years now and haven't used it once.  I was considering dropping it, but figured I should at least get an exam before I do because it only cost $10.  I was extremely surprised to find out that I need glasses!!  I have 20/20 vision - but does it matter that I guess on most of the letters?  But my right eye is straining a little bit so I need a light prescription.  The doctor showed me how I will see with the glasses and I couldn't believe the difference.  When I think about it, I do have a hard time seeing sometimes when I am driving, mainly at night.  And sometimes my right eye will hurt for a day and I get headaches around that eye too.  So I ordered some glasses.  He said I could just wear one contact if I wanted.  I will try the glasses first.  I had to get kid ones because none of the adult ones would fit my puny head.  Lame.  But they were a heck of a lot cheaper, so I scored in that sense!  Anyway, they should come in this week, so I will post a picture when I get a chance.  Well I thought I had nothing to write about, but there it is.  TIme to finish folding laundry and hit the sack.  Back to work tomorrow.  Boo.  Have a good Sunday everyone!
