This week is flying by! Monday I left work on my lunch break to go to a pizza place just down the street for a salad. When I tried to leave, my car wouldn't start - battery was dead. I knew it was going to happen sooner or later, but I thought it might give me a warning. It just died. Luckily this restaurant is pretty popular with my co-workers because there aren't a whole lot of choices in the area. My manager happened to be there too, along with one of our engineering guys. I always carry jumper cables, so he was able to get me started and I got back to work in time, but I knew that it probably wouldn't start when it was time for me to go home. I called Rudy to find out that he had accidently left his car keys inside my car and he doesn't have a spare at our house, so he was unable to leave - which meant he couldn't help me and he also couldn't get himself to work. He was able to get his shift covered and then my dad went and picked him up and they came to my work (I had to get special permission because they don't allow outsiders on the property) and they changed my battery for me. It all worked out fine, but for awhile it was pretty stressful trying to figure out how I was going to get home and how he was going to get to work. I was a little bitter with Rudy for being irresponsible and not going to work, but I got over it. And he is going to work on both of his days off this week for some extra money, which is always needed!

One more day of work and then the weekend! yay! I don't have any big plans ... probably just stuff around the house, but I will be happy with that. Have a good rest of the week everyone!
