Once again the weekend is coming to an end.  It was a good and productive weekend.  Yesterday we hung around the house for awhile in the morning.  Rudy's dad came over to help him fix one of our doors and I did my Target trip, which is always fun.  I love that stupid place.  I didn't get to do any fun shopping, just the necessities, but I enjoy looking around and adding to my "wish list."  Rudy had to work last night, but not for too long.  I made a yummy chicken and rice dish for dinner but I was feeling well and didn't eat any of it.  My stomach was a little upset, but I feel better today.  This morning we got up early and ran a bunch of errands and were home by noon.  I like it that way.  The Safeway down the street was having a big grand re-opening sale and even though we don't normally shop at that one, we went there because they were having lots of good deals and they were giving away 200 i-pod shuffles to random customers at checkout between yesterday and today.  I am not gonna lie, I wanted to win one real bad.  While we were shopping they kept announcing i-pod winners over the intercom, every few minutes.  Sometimes 3 right in a row.  It was making me so anxious, I was having a hard time shopping.  When it came time to check out I wanted to go to aisle 7 because that's my lucky number.  The line was longer than others but I didn't mind waiting.  But then an employee came and told me that we could go to aisle 4 - so reluctantly we went.  We split our stuff in 2 so that we could each have a chance at winning, but no such luck.  Right as we both finished checking out, they announced that they had a winner in aisle 7!  I was so mad!  It probably would have been us!  That is so my luck.  I was totally disappointed and Rudy knew it, so after we loaded the stuff in the car he ran back inside to buy a bottle of water and he totally won an i-pod!  I was so excited!  That's my guy.  Anyway, that was our excitement for the weekend.  We are heading out to hang out with a couple that I work with.  They are making dinner and then we are going to play some wii.  Rudy and I practiced a little so that we would be on top of our game.
