Zoo Lights .... a month ago.

I have so much catching up to do! I finally got a chance to get my computer back in order .... which was more trouble than I expected. That always seems to be the case with computers. I spent a lot of time getting all of our pictures and videos backed up onto DVD's (many of them on flash drives too, just in case). I got Photoshop for Christmas and found out that I needed to upgrade my operating system in order to use it .... figures. I couldn't use the external hard drive until I did that, because I would have to re-format it for the new OS. So, I got the new operating system, re-formatted the external and transferred everything over to that .... and I am still having the HARDEST time deleting pictures off the computer, even with them being backed up in a least 3 places. I went through and deleted a bunch to free up some memory, but I can't bring myself to wipe them all out. I will just have to do it little by little as I need the space. I wish we could just buy a whole new computer, hehe.

ANYWAY .... Christmas festivites. We went to Zoo Lights over a month ago. They don't have many animals out for night functions, but the place was covered in lights and it was nice.

We got there early so we could be among the first to get it. This was a good thing. While we waited in line we fed Ryder his dinner. Couldn't get a smile out of him, but I just love his sock monkey hat!

The elephants were among the few animals on display. POOR elephants, they have a ridiculously small enclosure! They are in the process of expanding, but it has been super small for as long as I can remember. Right now there are two, but once the expansion is done, they will be sending one away and getting five new ones so we will have a heard! Pretty cool!

Before we left, we had to visit Santa. Of course he wasn't a fan. On top of that, it was bedtime and he took a hard fall and hit the back of his head on the cement. Poor guy.

Yup. Definitely not a fan of Santa.
