Ryder is doing much better. He still has a little stuffy/runny nose and a cough, but pretty minor and just what you'd expect after a cold. He has been sleeping great ... and sleeping in a little, until 7 or later. Great!

It is way too hot! I hadn't been out of the house for a couple of days and was shocked when I went out today! Karina, the kiddos and I went and checked out a new baby store that opened recently. It was pretty great!

I am so excited that we will be on the farm next week! I SOOO wish we could be going in October to enjoy the nicer weather, but hopefully we'll survive. I don't do well with extreme heat, but I think humidity is even worse! It's going to be so great to see everyone. I feel like I have a ton of stuff to do to get ready to go and I keep putting it off. I did get some key things checked off the list over the weekend, but still have plenty to do. I will probably have to do a couple errands every day for the rest of the week. I want to be done with those so that Sun, Mon & Tues can be spent doing things at home .... laundry, packing and cleaning. I can't leave a messy house. It's so much nicer to come home to a clean house!

The one thing that is STRESSING me out is that we haven't figured out what we are doing with 2 of our dogs while we are gone yet! They are probably going to go to my parent's house while my mom and sis are in town, but since they will be going back for my cousin's wedding, there are 4 days that we will all be gone and I just don't know what we are going to do with them. This is when I wish we didn't have pets!

Well I really don't have much else to write about ..... not that I can think of at the moment anyway! If anyone has some good tips for traveling with a 9 month old, please send them my way! He is a squirmy little guy and really doesn't like to sit still for very long. He is very curious and always on the go, so the plane rides and long car rides should be interesting. I am sure we will survive it. I have this feeling he is going to get his first tooth really soon - and I really hope I am wrong! But really, please send your travel tips my way~ so far we're planning on taking tons of snacks and some new toys.
