9 months old!

Our little man is 9 months today and growing like a weed! We went to the doctor and here are his stats:

Weight: 20 pounds on the dot! (50th percentile)

Height: 30" tall (95th percentile)

Head: 46.5 cm (75th percentile)

His height measurement wasn't really accurate and watching her do it, she added at least an inch on there. He wouldn't really lay still because he hates to be on his back, so it was hard to get. They had to poke his toe to get blood to test his iron - and to our surprise he just sat there, watched her do it and didn't make a peep! What a tough boy. I was very proud and it certainly made the whole ordeal easier. We weren't sure if he was going to get any shots, but he did. Only one this time so it wasn't too bad. We were in and out of there pretty quick.

A little while after we got home, Ryder was crawling way too fast and he stumbled over himself, face planted into the tile floor and busted his lip open! Poor boy! There was more blood than I can handle and luckily Rudy was here to deal with it, because I had to lay down before I passed out. I don't know what I will do when I have to deal with one of those situations by myself! It's funny to think I could handle natural child birth, but a little blood and I am on the floor.

It's another hot week in Tucson .... blah. Can't wait for fall! Happy Tuesday everyone!
