Hanging with his girlfriend, Kayla :)
Coolest kid on the block
After watching Baby Einstein .... drooling with excitement!
(After)
It is sooo freeing to get rid of all that hair! Makes my showers so much quicker.
Father & Son watching the Olympics together.
He figured out he can suck on his bottom lip! He will suck on anything and everything, except the pacifier.
Gross I know, but this was my day last week .... as soon as I got him cleaned up and was just about to put his clothes in the washer ....
This happened! He NEVER spits up. This was like the 3rd time ever. I must have eaten something that upset his tummy that day. At least I didn't even have him dressed yet.
Hanging with Kayla again. He was such a trooper - shopping with 3 ladies! We went to the Foothills mall, which is pretty far from where we live and both babies were awesome in the car and the whole time shopping.
He is so cool.
Let's see, what's new .....
Ryder is sleeping in his own room every night now. After the one night before, I kept him in our room for a few more nights and then decided it was time to make the switch. It was a super easy transition - for him at least! I don't think he ever knew we were in the room with him before because he couldn't see us from his pack'n'play. So for him, it's just a more comfortable bed and exciting things on the walls. He is so funny when he wakes up in the morning. We hear him on the baby monitor talking to himself and shrieking with excitement over the animals on his sheets and walls. He is so consistent with his sleeping - goes to bed between 9 and 10 and wakes up between 7 and 8 every morning. Never wakes during the night. :) The nice thing about not having him in our room is that we don't have to tip-toe around in there when we are getting ready for bed or going to the bathroom in the night.
One thing I keep forgetting to write about is that Ryder says "mom!" So he probably doesn't know what he is saying, but it's pretty funny and he does it a lot! It's usually when he is hungry and starting to get fussy, he just spits it out clear as day. We were at Rudy's aunt's house a couple weeks ago and his cousin was holding him when he started getting fussy and he said "mom!" His cousin even said, "Did he just say mom!?" I told them he does it all the time and they couldn't stop talking about what a genious he is. :)
He is getting so big, I just can't believe it! He looks more like a 6 month old than a 3 month old - definitely takes after Rudy in the size department. Rudy was a huge baby. He is strong though and is ahead of his time in that sense. He rolls all the time and is getting closer to sitting on his own. He thinks the dogs are hilarious and always laughs when we change his clothes. He thinks it is so funny when you put his arms in or take them out. He puts everything he can get a hold of into his mouth and most of the time it is his hands - his thumb, one or two fingers, or just the whole fist. He is quite the chatterbox most of the time, just talking and humming like he is telling a story.
I think I had more to write about, but I started this yesterday and just finished getting the pictures up and am ready for bed .... took a friend to the hospital to have a test done on her heart today and was supposed to pick her up a few hours later. Turns out she will be having bypass surgery tomorrow and will have to stay until Sunday now, poor thing! I will be taking care of her cats until then. Say a prayer for my friend Laurie to have a quick recovery!

Oh, I sooooo remember those orangy yellow poops that are so runny you can't stop them if you try! And it stains so bad! I still find baby clothes from the kids with that color of stain on it. I have had days like that. It makes the easy days that much more easy, huh? I LOVE your hair! I want to see the front picture! I'm so glad you donated it. My hair was that long after my wedding and I went to get it cut; telling them I wanted it donated; they cut it in about 2 inch sections! WHY would they do that?! So mine never got to where I wanted it to go...which was very important to me. I'm glad yours went better.
Your little man is extremely cute! So glad I can see him through pictures!!!
