First, the big news ... Ryder rolled over today!! We had just finished our play date with my friend Karina and her sweet little Kayla (Ryder's girlfriend). I put Ryder on his tummy next to the computer and turned away for a few seconds. When he is on his tummy he makes lots of noises - grunting, etc. After a couple seconds he got quiet so I turned to look and there he was on his back looking so proud of himself! I shot up in excitement and then almost started crying because I MISSED IT!!! I was sooo mad at myself ... stupid computer. I put him back on his tummy and almost immediately he did it again!!! He was so smooth about it, and I was sooo happy he did it again. I am very proud. :)
This has been such a great week. We have continued to get out of the house every single day. Tonight we met my mom at the restaurant my sister works at to "celebrate" the big roll over. He did sooo good in there. After about 2 hours it got pretty loud in there and there was a lot going on and then he decided he was DONE. So we left. Our play date was a lot of fun today. Ryder and Kayla are so cute together. He loves to stare at her. We went on a walk to the park. The weather has been beautiful and I want to get out as much as we can before it starts getting HOT. I can't wait until Ryder and Kayla start interacting with each other. I know so many people that have had babies in the past couple months, I want to try and get a group of us together every so often so that Ryder gets to interact with lots of other babies.
More big news ... it looks like Ryder will be sleeping in his room for the first time tonight. I hadn't intended for that to happen yet, but he fell asleep just before Rudy got home from work and I put him in his crib, thinking he would probably wake up in a little bit. It's been 3 hours now and he is still passed out in there. I hate to move him and wake him up when it's really not necessary so I guess we will leave him in there. He just wants to be a big boy already! Hopefully I will get some sleep tonight. We'll see. He may be back in our room tomorrow night. :) Tomorrow evening we are meeting some of the dance girls (Stevie, Meagan & Julie) for a walk around the UA campus and then going to Rincon Market. Haven't been there in forever and so excited to see my girls!
Here are the rest of my favorites from our day at the park ....
Putting his cowboy hat on!
Yes, these last 2 are the same ... except Ryder's eyes! He must've seen something exciting in the second one.

Wonderful photos. I have looked at them several times, had a group looking over my shoulder at school, and grandma and I looked at them Sunday. What a handsome little cowboy you have. Please keep posting and writing. I helps to keep us connected to you guys. You all look great.
