I haven't got a whole lot to write about ..... i have basically just been going through the daily motions ..... work, eat, sleep.  Nothing too exciting has really happened.  My grandma on my mom's side moved out here last week.  Right now she is staying at my parents house.  Her furniture should get here this weekend and then she will be able to move into her apartment which is just down the street from our house.  It will be kind of neat to have another family member live here as I have never lived in the same city (or even state for that matter) as any family other then my parents and sister.  I think it will be a good move for her.  She won't have to spend any holidays alone.  I don't think I have ever spent Easter with her so this year will be a first!

Work is work.  I am exhausted at the end of the day and lately have been taking an hour long nap on the couch in the evenings and then waking up totally groggy and grouchy, but I just get to a point where I can't keep my eyes open anymore.  Then of course it is hard to fall asleep when I go to bed.

Thinking back to a year ago ..... we were just a few days away from our wedding and what an exciting time that was!  Of course there was some last minute stress about getting everything together but in the end it all worked out and we had the wedding of our dreams!  I can't believe it's already been a year!  Sunday is our anniversary and we both took the day off.  Don't know what we are going to do yet, but I am sure no matter we will have a good time.  It's funny because soooo many people told me that the first year of marriage is SO hard and that if we could get through that then it will start to get better.  I don't think the first year has been hard AT ALL.  It has flown by so fast and even with buying a house and doing so much with it, I haven't felt that marriage has been hard.  I hope that the 2nd year and every year after will go just as smoothly.  I feel so lucky to have married such an incredible man who treats me with so much love and respect.  I never have to worry about anything.  I know he will always take care of me and that no matter what life brings we can get through it together.  Ok enough about that.  I am sure I will do some more reminiscing this weekend.

My friend Katie is getting married on Friday and I am soooo excited!  It will be a great time I am sure and what better way to start our anniversary weekend than with the wedding of a great friend.  We actually might get a hotel room at the hotel she and her family are all staying at because they got an awesome group rate and it has a great pool with a waterslide!  We haven't decided yet ..... I can think of so many other ways to spend the money we would spend on a room and by the time we go out to dinner and everything else it could get expensive, but then again you only get one 1st anniversary right?  We will see.  I will let you know whatever we decide!

I have to next 4 days off and I am soooo excited!  I hope to get some stuff done around the house.  I need to tackle the guest bedroom ... you can barely get in there right now because things have been piling up for quite some time and I also had to get something out of the back of the closet one day and never put everything back in.  It would be nice to get that cleaned up.  We also have a bunch of furniture that we want to sell so I  need to post some ads on craigs list.  Does anyone need new couches?  A dresser?  or a clothes dryer?  Those are the main things I want to get rid of right now.  Also, my grandma is giving us 2 new dressers so we will probably get rid of some of our bedroom furniture ... including our entertainment center.  There are lots of things stored in there but it just takes up so much space I would like to downsize a little.  We will see!  Have a good end of the week and weekend everyone!  (That sounds funny, but you know what I mean).
