TADA!!!!

I don't have much time to write.  I need to get dinner started but I wanted to share the pictures of our floor!  First, a picture of our nephew RJ's leg.  He got 3rd degree burns a few weeks ago.  They had a fire in Rudy's parent's backyard and his little brother Nathan had thrown an empty can of lighter fluid in the fire and then went inside.  RJ went outside and apparently the can exploded shooting a fireball right at RJ, which caught his pants on fire and as you can see did quite a number on his leg.  It looks much better here .....

The carpet is out ....

We have hardly started and already Pluto is exhausted ...

The computer room!  Not quite finished, we still need to do the baseboards.

And the living room!  YAY!

We spent 2 horribly long days (3 if you count the entire day Rudy spent tearing out carpet and baseboards), but it was soooo worth it!  I am so proud that we did it ourselves!  Of course, we couldn't have done it without the help of our dads - thank you soooo much!  The bedrooms will be a piece of cake now that we know what we are doing and because they are square rooms.  The angles and doorways in these rooms were the hardest part.
