I have been going non-stop for 3 days straight and I am exhausted. Thursday after work we started painting the Kitchen/dining area and the living room. We picked a color called athenian green and after we started painting we decided we didn't really like it.... we liked t he color but not for the those rooms because there are so many walls and it seemed like it would be too much. But we bought 2 gallons of it and it was not returnable so we decided it was a good color for the den/computer room, so we moved in there and painted it. One more red room gone! Yay! Only one left to cover. The green looks awesome in the den and we are very happy with it. We went and picked out a color for the living room ... a light beige color much more neutral. We only bought one gallon because we had already bought 3 gallons (the green and then some white too - which is not the right white, but I think we can return it) .... and it sure adds up quick. We stretched the beige as far as we could, and we had already painted most of the kitchen and dining the green color, so we kept that and were able to get everything covered. There is one wall that is green and we will probably change it to the beige soon, but for now it is fine. We are really happy with the outcome and can't believe what a big change it is. We spent 2 days working on it and thankfully my dad came and helped both days, or else we would not have finished it. Thanks for your help dad!!

Go go go!!
Today I cleaned ALLLL day long. And ran a few errands too. I have been a little behind on some cleaning I guess, but I got a LOT done. Rudy helped when he got home from work. It is nice to have a super-clean and freshly painted house. Feels like a whole new place! I will post pictures of the new look in the next couple of days. We still need to put some things back on the wall and such. I went to the grocery store today and got frustrated because it was super busy and it was impossible to get down the aisles. I am not going to shop at Fry's anymore because their aisles are way to small and they have to many displays in the middle of the aisle giving enough room for only one cart to get through at a time and sometimes people stop and block the aisle completely. I hardly bought anything and just couldn't stand being there any longer. I will have to go to a different store on Tuesday. I wish we had a Basha's nearby, by there isn't one anywhere remotely close.
It feels good to be sitting down right now, after being on my feet so much for the past 4 days really. Now I am ready for some time to relax ... but I have to go to work tomorrow. Bummer. Oh well, gotta pay the bills unfortunately. Hope you all have a happy Sunday! Pictures soon, promise!
