The weekend flew by, as usual. Friday was spent preparing for the yard sale. We had to go through all the stuff in the garage and then I had to go through stuff in my parents shed. We sure have a lot of crap! Saturday I woke up at 5am! I can't remember the last time I woke up that early .... must have been on our honeymoon. Rudy went with me to my parents house to help with the sale before he had to go to work. It took awhile to get set up and once we got the signs out it took awhile for people to start showing up. Yard sales are kind of weird when you think about it. It is weird having people look through your old things and even though most of it is just junk, a lot of things have memories attached to them that these people have no clue about. I find myself almost getting a little offended when people leave without buying something ... as if they think my stuff isn't good enough, even though I know that's not necessarily the case. Anyway, we didn't make a whole lot of money, but were happy to get rid of lots of things. We hauled the left-overs all to our house and are planning to try one here next weekend. We will see how the week goes .... if we decide we don't want to put the energy into another one, then we will just donate everything else. These things take so much energy! We were exhausted yesterday and I didn't have the energy to do much house cleaning. I am just trying to look past the messes for the time being and until I have the time and energy to clean. I am pretty tired tonight and feel like I might be coming down with something. I feel so fatigued and have a hint of a sore throat. Hopefully a good night of sleep can do the trick. I haven't got time to be sick.

I can't believe it's almost Halloween! I haven't decided what to be yet ..... part of me wants to stay home and hand out candy. This guy from work is having a party and has been preparing for a long time, so I feel like I at least have to make an appearance. There are going to be strobe lights, which means a potential seizure for me ... so hopefully that won't be a problem.
Well I have a really long day at work tomorrow so I think I am going to start getting ready for bed. Hopefully I will wake up feeling well-rested and healthy. Happy Monday everyone!
