My weekend is already halfway over, but today was a very productive day. We both had the day off. We had pancakes for breakfast (yum!) and then we did a ton of cleaning. We organized and re-arranged our guest room as we have been letting junk pile up in there for awhile. I have been wanting to get in there for awhile and it felt good to get it done. There were still boxes of things in the closet that hadn't been unpacked when we moved in. I am very pleased with the room now. My mom and I were going to have a yard sale tomorrow but we are supposed to be getting rain from the hurricane coming through Mexico, so we decided to post-pone until next week. This is a good thing, because neither one of us were really ready for it anyway. We still need to spend a whole day organizing and cleaning out the garage. I can't wait to get rid of all of our crap! And hopefully we can make a little extra money too. Speaking of extra money, it looks like I am officially going to need a second job. We were informed yesterday at work that measures are being taken due to the status of the economy. Some people have been laid off (not from our department at this point), budgets are being cut in lots of ways and for me it means that they are going to cut my hours down to 20 per week. It will be impossible for me to pay the bills on only 20 hours so I am going to have to find another job. I really hope that I can find something quick. I am hoping to teach a few classes at a gym nearby and I would really love to find a new place to teach kids. I am just praying that something will come along and that the problems with the economy can be fixed soon.

This is the furniture Rudy's mom gave us.  It is pretty, just not our style so
we are going to sand it down and either stain it or paint it.

Another dresser

This is the park that is literally right behind our house.  Rudy knew about it, but I didn't until the other day.  It is beautiful and it has this awesome lake (man-made of course).  We just have to walk through a little desert area behind our house and it takes about 5 min to get here.  We have been taking the dogs every day.

This was Rudy's project for a couple of weeks.  He was so proud when he finished it.  He sure loves his puzzles, what a dork.  You gotta love him.

My handsome love.

This was cute.  Pluto was hanging out in his empty pool.  Bad quality because I took it through the glass door, but at least you can see him.

I wanted to post some more pictures but this thing is not letting me right now and I am getting really frustrated so I will try to post the rest tomorrow.  Right now we are going to watch a scary movie.
