Success!

We finally got the bathroom painted!  We tried to sleep in this morning, but my internal clock wouldn't let me sleep much after 8 because I am used to being up by then.  But it was nice to stay in bed a little longer.  A little while after we got up, Rudy's sister called to see if we could pick up our nephew Elijah from school because she had to take one of her other sons (Nathan) to the hospital because he was having stomach cramps.  So we picked up Elijah at noon and we were very glad we decided to buy our paint and supplies last night, so we didn't have to drag him with us.  He came back to our house and after we got him fed we started our project.  Poor Elijah had to play by himself all day because we really wanted to get this done.  Luckily we have a wii and it kept him busy for hours.  I felt bad having him play video games all day and after awhile he got sick of playing by himself and kept asking us to play with him, so we took turns.  One of us painted and the other hung out with Elijah.  He is such a funny kid.  He just says the funniest things.  After a long day at the hospital, it turned out that poor Nathan was just constipated.  Elijah got picked up and then we finished up with the bathroom.  I am undecided about a couple of things though ... I don't like the rugs we picked out and I am not sure which color towels I like best.  I still want to put a few more decorative items in there too, but I am so happy with what we got done today!  We didn't get the door frame fixed that we were hoping to, because we were going to buy the parts we needed last night while we were at Lowe's, and then we realized that we were going to need a truck to haul them.  My dad is going to help me with his truck tomorrow and then hopefully Rudy can get the job done after he gets off work.  I promise I will put up pictures of the bathroom tomorrow!  Right now I am ready for bed.  Have a great weekend!!
