Hurry up weekend!!

Only 1 more day of work and then it's the weekend for me! I am super excited. I hope tomorrow goes quickly. After work we are going to Chuy's to celebrate a co-workers birthday. It should be a fun time. Then on Friday night I am having a girl's night with some friends! I am super excited! We are going to hang out at my house and make some dinner. It should be a fun time! It's always nice to spend a night with the girls. Especially these days because it doesn't seem to happen very often. I am also excited to show them what we have done with the bathroom. :)

Today's weather was awesome! I felt like I was in the mountains or something. I love afternoon storms! It started thundering just as I was getting off work. While I was walking to my car, the thunder was setting off car alarms! And then pretty much the whole way home it was raining and at one point it was pouring HARD. Unfortunately my windshield wipers don't work, so I could hardly see and then at one point the car next to me splashed me twice in a row and I couldn't see the road for a few full seconds. It was pretty scary! But I was super happy to get a storm. We had grilled cheese and tomato soup for dinner because it felt like one of those days.

I am getting soooooo excited for Halloween!!! I can't wait to put up decorations and I love Halloween because it starts off the chain of fun, festive holidays ... Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years! My favorite time of year! It means good food, good company, family fun and a lot of love! I am already nervous about Christmas though. It's hard enough just to pay the bills and get by. I love buying gifts for people, I am just going to have to be creative this year and give great gifts without spending a lot of money. At least I get a pretty decent bonus at work. Anyway, I am completely going off on a tangent .... I am thinking I am going to hit the hay a little early tonight, I feel like I could use a few extra hours of sleep.
