I haven't been able to find the time to post lately. My little dude is keeping very busy and wearing me out! He is soooo busy alll the time. He has also been VERY clingy. Wanting me to hold him all the time. I love it because for awhile he didn't want to be held much and I know before too long he won't want to be held at all, but sometimes it is so tiring and it makes it really hard to get anything done! I am not sure why he is being that way, but I do know that he has major separation anxiety. Normal for his age, but kind of sad.

The one big piece of news I have is that Ryder is finally getting his first tooth! I noticed it last week and Saturday night overnight it broke the skin. Thankfully he has still been sleeping through the night and it hasn't really seemed to bother him. That little thing is sharp though! He hardly ever lets us get a good look at it, so a picture is pretty much impossible at this point.

I am in full-on 1st birthday party planning mode!! I have a couple of special things that I have been working hard on, and am really excited about. I can't believe he is almost a year old! NUTS! I feel like I have a ton to do to get ready for his party .... and with Halloween, etc fast approaching, my head is spinning! Luckily, we bought his Halloween costume awhile back (he now has 2, in fact). It's a secret though! ;) I really need to get Halloween decorations up or else it won't be worth it! They will have to come down before Ryder's party. I have started Christmas shopping- determined to have it done early this year, in order to avoid the crowds and all the crazy people. I just want to relax and enjoy the holidays. :) Even though Ryder won't "get it" this year, it will still be more fun and exciting than last (when I was a post-birth, nervous wreck)!

I can't believe it has still been sooo hot. It's funny that people are saying "it's only supposed to me mid-90's today." Today was nice and I have my fingers crossed that the temperature will continue to drop and that soon it will feel like "fall."

We had planned to go to the Pumpkin Patch this week, but I think we'll wait until next week. Rudy only has 1 day off and I feel like I need to catch up on some things. Looking forward to a fun family adventure though!

Well that's about it. I will try to post some pics soon ..... we are overdue for a photo shoot. Hoping to get to the park soon for 11 month pictures!
