Ryder is 10 months old ....

as of yesterday! This means in 2 months he will have his 1st birthday!! WHAT!?!?! It's time to start planning his party. I can't believe it!

-He says mama, dada, and just the other day he said eat - and did the sign for it too! Today while I was nursing him, he did the sign for milk. Smarty pants!

-He has been protesting anything pureed - it's all about the finger foods and feeding himself! He is also loving nursing still, which I love too.

-The boy LOVES bananas! He likes fruit in general, but bananas seem to be a favorite. Little monkey boy!

-He still doesn't have a single tooth! I LOVE that little tooth-less smile! :)

-He is getting soo close to walking.

-He is a pro at traveling .... at least riding on an airplane. The car is still a little rough at times.

Hmm, I know there is more that I wanted to say, but of course can't remember! This little guy is just growing and growing, become such a sweet little boy. I know before long he will look more like a little boy than a baby and that will be so sad! Then it will be time for another baby. ;)

We are back from our visit to Illinois & Iowa. We had a blast and it went by waaay too fast. Rudy went back to work today and it was a hard adjustment for me, and I think for Ryder too. We got to spend 11 days straight with daddy and I think we both got a little spoiled by it. I think Ryder even became a bit of daddy's boy. We sure did miss him today. I think it's going to take a few days to get back into the swing of things. Ryder's class starts up again this week and I am so excited for that.

The day before we left for our trip, we got some great news - Rudy got a raise! And a pretty significant one too. This is such a relief for us! I was just realizing that I would probably have to get a part-time job to make ends meet, and then we got this news. I do have a job lined up if I want it, teaching a couple fitness classes one morning a week but I haven't decided yet if I will take it. Even though it's only one morning for a couple of hours, I feel like it will be more of a hassle than anything. But we'll see, a little extra income would be great (SHOPPING $$$!).

I hope to post about our trip really soon - I have soooo many pictures to share! We took about 1500! It's going to be hard to choose my favorites, but you can pretty much count on a couple long posts with TONS of pictures. It's going to be quite a job - stay tuned for that.
