First of all, I am sorry I do not have any pictures to post (again), but I promise I will get some up soon. I will have to do a little photo shoot this week. Last week was kind of a rough week in our house. Ryder of course had his shots on Monday and that really threw him off for a few days. His sleeping schedule went down the drain and instead of sleeping through the night he was waking every 2 hours for the first couple of nights - he has NEVER woken up that much. Poor guy was just sore and uncomfortable. He was fussy for a couple of days and then just when we were turning the corner, he came down with a little cold. When I called the doctor, they said he probably picked something up when he was there for his shots ... oh the irony. He had a runny nose and a cough. I hated not knowing if he had a headache or a sore throat, but I gave him one dose of tylenol, just in case. It wasn't too horrible and I knew it had to happen at some point. A few nights with the vaporizer on and he is doing much better. His cradle cap is clearing up too! The baking soda paste is working well. A few more times and it should be all gone.

Rudy has been working a ton and we miss him a lot. It feels like we never see him. They still have their male bonding time in the morning usually, but then he gets home late and by the time we eat and both get showers, he is tired and ready for bed. I love that he is willing to do that though. He really wants me to be home with Ryder and I think in a way he likes being the provider for the family. We really appreciate his hard work, even though it means we don't get to see him as much as we would like. Hopefully it won't always have to be like this, but for now it's the best thing for our family.

Supposedly we have a winter storm rolling in tomorrow and then another one following. I am excited for some winter-like weather! Today was overcast and it looked super cold outside, but I think it was mid-60's. I am looking forward to all this rain they say is coming and HOPE they aren't blowing it way out of proportion like they usually do (the weather people).

Can you believe the destruction in Haiti? I can't even imagine. I feel so horrible for all the people that have lost their lives or their loved ones and also for all of the survivors and the many people who are suffering from terrible injuries right now and are just waiting for medical care. What a mess. I wish there was something I could do to help. If we had any money to donate we would, but I guess all we can do is pray for all of the people and to remember to be thankful everyday for all that we have and to remember even when it seems like things are terrible, there are people going through much worse.
