Projects are moving along in this house ..... but my to-do list is still about a mile long and growing! This whole nesting thing is overwhelming! It's good because I need to clean out everything and get rid of things, but it's also very time-consuming and hard to find the energy for. Yesterday Rudy and I both got off work around noon and I was planning to come home and get a ton of stuff done .... instead we napped most of the day away. Guess we needed it. Today after work I cleaned out the linen closet and the cabinet in our bathroom. Tomorrow I am hoping to tackle the hall closet and then the pantry .... that's going to be a big job! I am really hoping it will cool down enough to have a yard sale very soon. We have a TON of stuff to get rid of and hopefully afterward we will be able to get both cars in the garage.

The nursery is coming along and looking great! I am so relieved that the painting and the floors are done. I ordered the crib yesterday and can't wait for it to get here! It's supposed to arrive within 2-7 business days. Right now we just have the dresser and changing table in there. We are still looking for a glider/rocker and also need to find a large rug. I am kicking myself because we saw one on sale a few weeks ago - it would have been perfect and it was super cheap, but for some reason we didn't buy it and of course now we can't find anything even close in price. Hopefully something will come along. I will post pictures of the progress soon, but want to wait until we have the crib in there.
We are starting our birthing class next week. We kind of waited until the last minute, but hopefully it will all still be "fresh" in our minds when the big day comes. I just can't believe how fast the time is passing and how soon our baby will be here! September is going to fly by I am sure, but it should be a really fun month with all of my baby showers happening! I am so excited for all these fun things! I am also looking forward to putting up Halloween decorations. I bought a bunch of stuff after Halloween last year and don't even remember what I bought, so it will be fun to get it all out and see what I have! Christmas will be the same way. I have a feeling that with the timing of the baby, the Halloween ones will probably stay up until the Christmas ones go up, but that's ok right?
We are loving the new car! It still has the new car smell and it makes me smile every time I get in it. I wish that would stick around forever, but I know it won't so I am just trying to treasure every day that it's still there. :)
That's about all that's happening around here ..... now I have to go figure out what to make for dinner.
