March and April have flown by. We've been super busy and I feel like I am behind on everything! So far I've been pretty good about taking Bentley's "monthly" pictures within the first couple days of each month but I really blew it with 10 months. He was 10 months on Easter (3/31) and I think I finally took his pictures on 4/20. Oops.
The little man is growing up too fast! I always say this, but I can't believe his first birthday is right around the corner! He is really into standing up on everything and "cruising" right now. He claps, waves and sometimes will "roll it" when we are playing pat-a-cake. Super cute.
Bentley is really into solid food and most of the time prefers things he can pick up and feed himself. I slip in bites of pureed veggies when I can. Some of his favorite foods are bread, yogurt, cheese, banana, mango, kiwi, pears, peas, sweet potatoes, carrots and blueberries. He likes fish but is undecided about beef and chicken so far. I really hope he doesn't become the picky eater that Ryder is.
Bentley just got his 3rd tooth in (top center left) and I can see 2 others that aren't far behind. He had a couple of SUPER fussy days, but has chilled out since the tooth finally broke the skin.
We took a trip to San Diego for mine & Rudy's 5th wedding anniversary and had a blast! We originally planned to do the driving at night so the boys could sleep, but ended up changing our minds and driving during the day. We braced ourselves for a terrible car ride. The boys blew us away! They were ANGELS!!! No crying, whining, or complaining AT ALL. Took us about 7 hours and they happily played by themselves the entire time. Bentley napped, played and sucked his fingers. I almost still can't believe it. We weren't sure we'd get so lucky on the way home, but we did. They were great. We only stopped once on the way home (to nurse & change B) and they stayed happy the whole way! Guess we need to travel more. :)
I don't know what else to say other than this boy just keeps getting cuter and cuter and we love him so much!
