It's a flood ... of pictures!!!!

Sooo .... it's been awhile. That seems to be the trend. Here's some pictures from recent times:

Hmm ... this one is facing the wrong way. But I love when he sleeps like this!

Easter!!

Ryder's Easter Basket

Ryder LOVED hunting for eggs! He discovered the first one all by himself, and was SO excited!

Then he opened it and was even more thrilled to find a "treat" inside! (He is a deprived child and has not ever had candy ... his eggs were filled with cheerios and yogurt melts. Of course he didn't know he was missing out!)

He soon realized there were eggs everywhere and had such a blast finding and collecting them.

He would take them back to his basket, one at a time and drop them in. I had no idea how well he would actually grasp the who concept! I guess I should have known, considering he is a genius. :)

He was running all over giggling and yelling "egg!"

He carried his basket around for a long time .... and then the eggs ended up in the dog bowl.

Making important phone calls.

Then came his big surprise! Now let me just say that I don't really believe in giving huge gifts for Easter. We have been wanting to get him this car for awhile. I found a good deal awhile back and instead of giving it to him any other day, I did use Easter as an excuse to bring it out. He won't always be getting such big gifts from the Easter Bunny ... but I figure this year he didn't know the difference. :)

He was over the moon excited!

Look at that grin on his face.

I am just picturing him in 15 years ..... what a nightmare!

We went to church in the morning ... Ryder did really well. We went to a big service at the convention center and Rudy's dad pushed him around in the stroller most of the time. Then we headed to the park for Rudy's family party. Ryder found a push time and played with it the whole time.

Then we went to a family friend's house with my family. Ryder was in heaven playing in the grass!

Look! A statue!

Hummingbird in the tree.

How often do you get to see a hummingbird relaxing? Not very.

And of course he found something to push around.

He even got a ride on it, from grandpa.

And since there was no time for a nap, he was very tired and grumpy.

Look at the wispy hair "wings"

The day after Easter .... sitting in the corner eating all the snacks in his eggs.

...and laying with his eggs.

Just relaxing on the road.

Fun with his water table!! (Notice the dog in the background, sun-bathing)

He prefers to actually get up there and sit in it.

You do it, mama!

Grilling with daddy

Oh my goodness! He is sooo big! I put yogurt covered raisins in Kenzie's eggs ;) They never know! Next time I'm in Tucson I'll have to give you our blow up pool (comes with a pump, yes!). It's a good size for a toddler and we never use it in San Diego (doesn't get warm enough outside for the water to heat up), but I'm sure in the summer there it would be perfect!
